I shall be travelling from Bassetts Pole to Matlock Bath on Sunday. Going via Lichfield, Rugeley, Uttoxeter, and Ashbourne. Leaving B P at 11.
Not far I know, just getting back into the swing of things.
Going unless there is snow or ice.
From the weather forecast this cold snap isnt going to be gone till next week :(

I'll be in matlock bath at about 2pm or something with a bunch of mates. If you're around look out for me if you hear me :) I have blue rim tape and "Saint Matt" on the screen in Rossi letters.
See if I can make it too, got the gear lever done then Matt.

Lol yeah, had it done last weekend :) Bit nervous but I am back on 2 wheels again. I mounted it the wrong way, meaning I had a reverse "race-style" box, by accident, rode down the road, figured it out, thought meh, I'll fix that when I get home. I ride to matlock, in first gear after a set of traffic lights and the shift rod buggers off somewhere, leaving me stuck in first gear 30 miles from home! Turns out mounting it upside down makes the rod hang on by a couple of theads, being a pillock I didn't check this. Managed to get it in third at the roadside, then fitted my spare one at home lol.
Im not adverse to cold so if its at least dry I will try and make it. What I dont like is the fact that when its cold all day any damp in the shadows can be icy. Rode in those sought of conditions a few time now and didnt particularly enjoy it.
It would be nice to put some faces to names though :)
Well Oiled

Might just make it on Sunday, even without the the heated grips that some of the Laydeeees around here have. :-dd
