What are the sockets know as, that are just 'hexagon' shaped & not the 'star' shaped (more likely to round off nuts ) :?:
What set should I look for; Draper, Snap On (but I'm not made of money,) Halfords :?:
Thanks in advance ;)

I think you're talking about 6 sided v 12 sided standard sockets?
6 sided are best, but decent 12 sided are OK, as cost effective easy to get hold of range are the Halfords professional stuff, if you do damage anything, just walk in and they change it for you there and then.
Cheers Mark.

I've always called them impact sockets. I'm probably wrong, but I know what I am talking about.

Halfords Professional range is good. Clarks (from Machine Mart) are good VFM.

Just bought the 150pc halfords pro kit and it looks to be really good kit, plus it's really shining at the moment. It's all so nuuuu and sparkling :D
