Hey all.

My local bike centre (The Rocket Centre, Blackburn) are running free Dyno runs. I've got mine booked in tomorrow, it is only the first 10 to ring up after seeing the advert in the local rag. Thing is, what exactly is it for !!!!

I didn't want to ask the guy in there cause I don't want him to think... 'right... we've got one here... reel him in !!'

cheers

Ash

i believe its so they can see how much power and torque your bike is producing throughtout the gears and rev range.

they put the bike on a rolling road and rev it up basically.

they may also put sensors in your zorst and check your fuel air mix - but not sure on that bit.

Just about sums it up. They could be testing a new dyno or hoping for some sales through it. i.e. new exhaust, adjusting your fuel mixture and stuff.

Think that goes without saying ;) But personally I reckon everyone should have their bikeon the dyno at least once. It might show up some problem- or it might just be fun to watch. You don't usually get to stand behind your bike at full power...
