I was bored so I had a go at "Cut and Paste"... As you can see, the job I did was crap!

I couldnt make the exhaust any smaller as it started to look even worse then it does now... but still... I think Yoshi should bring out that can for the SV, I would buy one!!!

What do you think? (not of my rubbish job, but of the idea)

One has to ask "why", with all the cans out there for the SV.

The GSXR is also a "bolt on" not a slip on, so you'd have to get the mounting flange on the pipework somehow. Too much work for very little gain IMHO...

Oh hang on. I wasnt saying I was going to get one for a Gixer and mess about with it. I was just saying if they made one for the SV, I would buy one. Im not technically minded enough to make one fit by cutting this and welding that.

I was bored so I thought I would show you guys one of my spur of the moment ideas... plus I really want a stubbie exhaust on my SV, but I cant find anywhere that sells one.

Get a normal one & cut it down like some of the others on here have.

Fuel Exhausts will make you a custom can of whatever size you want if you just want something unique

ever so nearly got a stubby Fuel can when I bought mine, but decided it didnt look all that compared to the oval.

It shows more rear wheel but looks kinda, well short really

One of the SVR.com riders has fitted a gsxr1K titanium "triangular can to his sv it looks way better than it sounds like it would, plus he says it has great sound.

Quote from SVRider:-

It sounds like a mild Harley...Kinda loud, but not like straitpipes...It sounds really good.

Don't care what it sounds like - still looks ****.

Now Filipe, I had the impression that you a decent sort.... Could you ever believe that someone as cool as "The Jelster" would drive around in a little Pug (or a Saxo) ??

That's the neighbours car, not mine... Although the Mrs has got an '04 Fiesta "Black".

I never get sick of seeing your bikes, both lovely! I wouldn't mind a blade like that myself. Could you possibly send me a sound clip of it running? I want to get an inline four as a second bike but I am not at all happy with the sound of stock bikes.
