How can I get rid of the unsightly marks left on the tank caused by my leathers? I've tried autoglym t-cut stuff and resin polish, it lessens the effect but doesn't remove it. Any ideas?

If t-cut didn't touch it, ordinary polish isn't going to... What sort of marks are we talking about here, sort of cloudy fading, or scratches?

Yup, sounds familiar, I had that where the tank rubs the seat. I can only speak for the carbed model, but the clear isn't very thick- if you cut it too much you might cut through to the paint.

Something like Farecla G10 might be better- it's a very mild, non-bleaching rubbing compound. Or lots and lots of polishing with Mer, which is slightly abrasive.

If you do manage to fix it, get a set of Tankslappers or similiar on before you turn another wheel, it'll just come back and you'll have even less clear next time.
