7500 DIY Service

Has anyone done it themselves? I have a manual and I am a licenced engineer/technically minded so would it be a problem to do it myself? The warrantee runs out in august and the best price so far for this service is £163. How does that sound?

i do it myself, i am doing the 14500 major one atm (done the hardpart just a couple more bits to do)

There is a couple of things that worry me. Will it affect resale value and what if the engine goes pop bettween now and august? Can anyone reccomend a good place to get it serviced in the surrey area?
