Rim brakes is what it needs, other than that, i like that a lot. Any chance of a full spec of what has been done?

A well executed 'fighter there, looks like a clean factory bike.

Spec list please. Eg, what swingarm, front end, any engine mods?

I'm not really a streetfighter fan, but I think that is stunning!

I might have removed the pillion pegs and brackets though.....it's just too nice NOT to ride it on your own!

I looked at this thread expecting yet another abomination, but that is excellent. It's probably the best 'curvy' SV that I've seen. I love this style of bike - which is why I have a Speed Triple.

Like others I opened this expecting some crashed SV repaired on the chep (Gold Rentals and twin headlights alone do NOT make a streetfighter!)
But that is brilliant, it looks neat and well thought out with some lovely touches! I'm amazed

I'm not sure anything mre accurately defines a streetfighter than a crashed bike repaired on teh cheap... At least, a certain breed of them. Half the fighters out there only lost their fairings after they lost a fight with a car. Though I agree with the principle, too many people bung an Acerbis front light on a naked bike and think they have a proper mean fighter...

You think you're embarrassed? Some ****ard nominated me for SV of teh Month on SV Rider against TLR709 this month... He's got about 60 votes, I've got none at all!

"Is my bike hot or not?"
"NOT!"

jonboy

Now if you'd only have said, we'd have trundled across in droves and given you support.

Wot, no votes? Snigger...

Luckily, I preempted it and tried to refuse the nomination- so now I can just claim that the reason i crashed and burned was that people were respecting my wishes. Like anyone ever listened to me ;)

I voted for TLR;)

I think the only real difference between "streetfighters" and the standard of builds on is how much of the spare cash you have in your back pocket. For me, the answer is none.

Yep, that's my POV too. As someone else said, taking of broken fairing, a pair of renthals and headlight being fitted as a cheap form of "repair", possibly with a spray can paint job to hide the road rash are more in the spirit of a Streetfighter than a non-crashed stock bike that is basically a special that is styled like a more traditional fighter, which has had big bucks spent on it.
