No, this isn't an in depth investigation of GP's...................I'm talking about the Time Lord himself, Doctor Who.

I vaguely remember Patrick Troughton, but for me Jon Pertwee will always be Doctor Who.

So who is your Doctor? Which of his enemies had you cowering behind the sofa? The Daleks, the Cybermen, the Sea Devils.....all scary....but the ones that REALLY frightened me were the giant maggots in The Green Death

And what do you think of the 'new' Doctor Who?

Hmm, I Don't really think about the doctors, just his assistants..
I had a crush on Joe Grant in the 70`s, and Ace in the 80`s.

I guess Pertwee was my favourite doctor, especially since he used to come to our village fete and bring the car, WHO 1, although he looks a bit of a plank on the re-runs!

Pertwee was my favourite.

As for now, I wouldn't watch it. It sort of makes me cringe when I look back at the old shows and the so called special effects, which has probably put me off the latest showing.

And if you send a text to a landline you get Tom Baker reading it. Has trouble with swear words but other than that pretty good.

Like others I remember Jon Pertwee and and the green death gets the behind the sofa award. Assistants, well Jo Grant a very close second to Leela in the leather rags who turned up after Sarah Jane Smith.

Does anyone remember that one-off film the BBC made, where Sylvester McCoy turned into Paul McGann.....................and Eric Roberts was The Master!

Now THAT was bad

Couldnt watch Doctor Who. The Daleks were too scary.
BUT, I did like the music. So, I would watch that, then as soon as it was over, I had to turn the TV off.
And think about something more comforting to me. Like crabs.

Has to be Tom Baker.

My French teacher at school was called Mr Troughton, much hilarity with Dalek noises etc during his lessons, poor bloke....never did find out the french for EXTERMINATE!
