Has anyone drilled their top yoke (from a faired) for bar risers and was it easy?

Looks like it can be done but I'm not sure what the underside is like i.e is it flat/is it braced?

Cheers all

It's been done but I suggest you'd buy a secondhand Naked top. No need to buy the lower yoke. They match perfect. You'll only be loosing the steering lock. Use a disklock!

Are you sure? last time(ages ago) I had an 'N' yoke on my 'S' AFAIR the steering lock still worked .

The starter key barrel is positioned differently. I just fitted an SVS top joke and clipons to my naked but haven't bothered to check if the lock still works but I'm assuming it won't. It's chilly to hop to the garage right now :)

Its not next the house Ben! Its a block away. By the way, I've polished the top yoke you've sent me and now looks a million. Thanks again Ben.

Chilly? In Malta? That's damn nearly in Africa so how can it be chilly?
I hope the Med warms up a bit as I intend going to Cyprus at Easter. :P

At this time of the year if the wind is strong and coming from the south it'll be humid. I've been to Central Europe with a temperature of -4 without wind and haven't felt this cold at a temperature of 9! It's strange but the humid air from the sea goes through your bones, believe me.

I'm still going to Cyprus at Easter. You can't put me off you know.
I bet your cold wind from the South is warmer than the icy blast we are getting here right now.I dunno where it comes from but the large white bear in the high street could be a clue.
