Staying in Newark next week

Hello all you Merry Men (and Maids)...

I'm attending an IT course in Newark from Mon - Thurs next week. I'm staying at the Robin Hood & Little John pub / B&B, in case anyone knows it...

Basically I'm wondering if any of you have any suggestions on good places to go in the evening for some good food & a pint or two. Cheap & cheerful is the order of the day seeing as I'm skint :roll: A good curry one night would be ideal if there any good places nearby.

Plus, if anyone in the Newark area wants to join me for the afore-mentioned food / pint, you'd be very welcome :D

22 - sounds good mate, though after a few pints i won't be sure if it's me swaying or the boat!! Would be good to meet up if you can make it. Most likely it'd be the Monday or Tuesday night, as I'll have an exam to take on Thursday so can't be feeling foggy from Weds night...

The course I'm on is supposed to finish at 5 each day. I guess by the time I've got back to the B&B, had something to eat etc I can be in town for about 6.30, i'll just get a txi or something into town, not sure how far it is from the B&B though. If you ring me just after 5 on tues I'll work out where to meet you...

Oh by the way, i probably won't have internet access after tonight until i get back on thursday, so I won't see any replies / get any PMs from now til then...
