no, looks a bit flimsy to me... and your left with the holes down the side where the snow shovel was.

Does look pretty urrrrrgly.

I can recommend a plate holder from EvoTech, availbale on ebay for 49 quid (inc p&p). Recently put one on my k3. Nice and "tidy". Fitting was quite easy, took about 1.5hours with zero inteligence.
