Hi
I have just bought a 2004 K3 that has Alpha Dot security markings. Can anybody tell me what Alpha Scientific charge for re-registering to the new owner.
Many thanks

On a slight tangent here, but does anyone know how to detect alpha dot? UV light possibly? I've only the word of my dealer its been done, and frankly they are such a shower in the workshop department I'd like to try see.

Thanks James. £15-£20 is reasonable.
The Apha Dot website says you need a 30 X magnifier to read the dots. From the info I got with the bike you should be able to see them with the naked eye. They look about the size of a pin head.
Kind regards
Tim

Mine was changed for nawt before i even (legally) owned the bike
There's little pink/red dots on "important" parts of the bike that give it away, check clocks, fairing panels, sprocket carrier etc.
It depends on how much was paid when it was first installed.
There are lifetime packages that never cost anything to get renewed or transfered to new owners. Mine cost nothing.

My dealer said they'd sorted it all out for me....
I can see pink and white dots all over different parts in hidden areas like when you take the rear seat off.
