It was rather a nice ride today, and no one tried to kill me, some even moved out of my way for me. :D
is that an amazingly flat centre of your tyre?
or is it funny camera angle?

Know the feeling, as mine only goes up the Old Kent road most of the time have very large chicken strips as a 100 yard blast before you hit the next set of lights doesnt give you much chance of leaning the bike over. Funny though because I come home on a different route to which I go to work the left side is smaller than the right side.

Vernas got small chicken strips than that

That happens to me too - left side is more worn that the right due to different routes to and from work. I'm working on increasing my speed round a couple of 90 degree right handers to even them up.
I'll be glad when the a325 is open again... more round-abouts... :D

My chicken strips have "regressed". They were worn down a bit, but the mud/road grime of winter has formed a new "how far you lean over" marker, even though the chicken strip underneath that gunk is lower. :(
I hope there's tyre cleaner in my big bucket of Wurth cleaning stuff that I should be getting from my Bike subscription :D
