Could Liz and I have some thoughts as to what we'd get for this bike if we sold it privately.

Bike would be sold with a new MOT and 6 months tax. Details as follows

X Reg, 30,000 miles, service history up to 23,000 miles stamped in book, Liz has serviced the bike herself since then.

New BT020 front and rear, new chain and sprocket, Viper can and orginal, Stainless steel heel plates and rad guard. DHM crash bungs, Suzuki seat cowl ( has a slight scuff on it ) and pillion seat. Has a cut down seat for the shorter of leg.

Bike will be sold as is. Neither of us can be bothered with the extra hassle of putting it back to standard just to make a few extra quid.

Not looking to sell just yet but we're just trying to guage the market so when we advertise we dont take the p*ss with the asking price.

Thanks in advance, Fizz & e.d.

I would guess at £1500-£1750 off the top of my head. Have a look at the finished auctions on ebay and www.autotrader.co.uk (dismiss trade prices).

Looks a very nice clean bike from the piccys

Steve, that site does not take in to account mileage.

when are you looking to sell, my brother *may* be interested. (although itd be the closer end of £1500 for him to buy in all honesty...although it would be fast and hassle free...stop rambling andy...)

Oh and id say £1500 to £1750 is about right with the mileage.

One main question id have is when were the valve clearances last done as that is every 15000miles....and at 30000 it needs it....just a thought (but that would make it less/more desireable if you could prove it had been done)

cheers

Andy

Do you have any idea if the seat could be raised back to normal quite easily. Cheers!

Silent - I dont know about the valve clearances, I would suspect that they havent been done but I can check with e.d. It needs a few small niggles putting right before we sell it as I'm not happy to let it go in the condition its in at the moment. So its not quite ready to sell yet, maybe in a months time it'll be ready.

Londonmassive - The only way to return the seat to its normal height would be to replace the rider seat with one that hasnt been cut down. I would think ebay is the best place to look to try and find one.

ok fizz, well my bro aint interested in a naked curvy anyway.

I know the valves clearances can go without checking however they *should* be checked, just to make sure they havent closed up, or opened out too much.

Cheers

IMHO do the full service including valve clearances, it only takes another half hour. I'd say the price is right 15-1750
