IF it's the same tankbag as last year, it was much more substantial looking than the Lidl one. Quality piece of kit. :thumbsup:

I concur, brilliant piece of kit. I also had a set of waterproofs (only had to use them once), a couple of chains (very heavy and substantial), pair of gloves for Daughter (keeping her hands nice and warm this winter). Missed out on the maps last year, hope to be there bright and early this year for them.

However, the LIDL maps are more expensive: as far as I recall I paid £5 for them last year.

I think the lidl maps were (as they are this year) £10. They are great though; wherever I go I take the maps that will cover that area stuffed in my tank bag "just in case".
Good thing we had our PM message conversation re: Lidl/Aldi kit. I've just sent the link for Aldi boots to my gf.

Yes, I think you are right: I did indeed pay the princely sum of £10 for the LIDL
maps. But I found them to be very handy.
