No reason to bump this as I was playing with the bump topic button. Which I forsee will be very annoying.

Can't do this weekend because I'm back in Manchester, we'll sort something out for Dr Rich but also in the mean time if anyone fancies a quickie ( ) on a school night, let me know.
If it comes to it Rich, you could crash at mine (FORGET about the quickie remark.. OK) . But don't forget I'm in a house share so there's no spare room, can't see there being a problem with you having the couch if that's alright by you
Stretchie
give me a shout I work in the center and am up for a drink or two after work .. if you fancied a pint drop me a PM.. BTW you havent moved into a house on Filton Avenue have you?.. just seen an SV down there and wondered if it was anyone here.

I'm ALWAYS up for one pint after work (and after that soft drinks :( ) as I work in Clifton/Cotham in the med school so anytime.
Anna, stretchie has a blue thundercat.

Sounds like a winner for me.
I'm working 08:00-16:00 in Weston Super Mud but would probably finish early anyway. I could be home and drop the bike off and into Bristol for 17:00(ish)maybe
Rich, how's this for you?

Sounds like a plan. Is this just a names to faces or are people getting 'hit n missed'?
Would I look stoopid if I turned up on my bike and in my leathers???
P.S. I've seen it on multimap but still don't KNOW the area. I think I know where it is but I'll definatley be there

- bike and leathers are very welcome.. I wont be having a session as it is a school night .. will PM you number in case any problems
I wont be having a session as it is a school night
Light-weight!
I am planning to use the 'I'm on my bike' excuse :D
right slight change in my plan I will be a bit later than orginally thought (only by half an hour!) have to go see a man about a flat... will catch up with you about 6.30ish

What time do other people think they'll be there(ish)
I don't want to end up sat there like Billy Bates wi no mates when I could be out on the road for another 30 mins
Does this pub do food? Is they do I'm eating too, anyone else going to have something eat?
I dont know about food but I promise I will be no later than 6.30 I'm sure there will be people around and you wont be sat at the bar on your own.. not sure about food though dont think they do but I could be wrong.

Dont think they do. Its not an especially nice pub TBH just easy to find. We could always meet there and the slip round the corner to the cotham hill which does food but is usually packed. Or got to Sultan's for curry! Or Stretchie go to the flipper for some chips while you are waiting
I'll be there about 6.
Stretch, are you coming from Filton or heading straight to the pub from Weston?
Just wondered because you said you weren't sure where it was and I'm gonna be going through Filton on my way there. So, if want to meet somewhere you *do* know & follow me, that's a possibility...
Regarding time, still aiming for about 1745.

Well that was fun. I most enjoyed the bit when Anna started dancing on the table wearing only the feather boa, Haxsaw's trousers accidently came down and Stretchie wet himself.
A quality evening by anyone's standards.
How did we all end up in 'The Pumpernickle', btw? Crazy-assed place
I obviously drank more then I realised if I cant remember that one

The Rhubarb next time, then?
Yup i think that would be a good put easy to find with a car park out the back.. It could be a regular thing if people wanted it to be?

I'd be up for a regular one. Sans bike when weather poor and then perhaps combined with some evening riding when weather better.

Should be up for this once the weathers got better, something with a short evening ride and then a bite to eat would be cool one summer evening

That would be cool, It only takes about an hour to get to Bristol so its not to much trouble for me.

oh and its probably a good idea to not organise stuff like this for Tuesday nights as it clash with Poole Quay and I expect Liz and I will be down there most Tuesdays.
sounds like we could do a bit of a pub rekkie around the area then... rubarb next week and then take it from there.
Sounds like you all had fun...and on a school nite too [-X
I'll be there oneday..as soon as were finished house hunting

Rhubarb*? Might be less busy as the studes are out of town (well a few of them).
*Thats the Roo Bar, old Clifton Down Station. Access off of Whiteladies rd, turning just above Clifton Down Shopping Centre. Or access off of St Johns Rd.

By the way, good news about the bike, hope to see it on Wednesday

okay people answer the question are you up for beers this week.. if so Rich, Stretchie and Haxsaw do you fancy a ride down to Avesbury for some grub and a coke instead of staying in bristol or do you not fancy that idea?
I'm going to be on human-powered transport tomorrow.
Thursday's a possibilty, though.
