cheap CAD package wanted

Can anyone recommend a cheap (i.e. free :D ) CAD package for doing things like 3D drawings of simple structures

Autodesk used to do a free "home use" licence for the Inventor package
I its one of the main players in the 3D market, i use it at work from time to time and have the free version on my PC at home for the odd bit of over time and the data files are fine from one system to the other
