cut a long story short i bought a seat hump second hand on ebay,

doeasn't quite fit properly so do i

A:put rubber trim around as in picture

B: leave trim off with the large gap at the rear that i dont like

C: sell seat hump again and look for anopther option?

That fits about right to be honest. None of them 'fit' There is always a gap even on the new ones. One of the reasons i never brought one

Out of the options, id go for the rubber thing around it :D

Yeah the rubber thing doesn't look too bad, but I am no expert.

We owners of the 1000s swap the rubber stopers from the seat hump with the ones from the seat as they are shorter and give the hump a closer fit. Try shiming it to get a good fit.

Yup. Though it sounds horrible, in the pic the rubber trim actually looks quite smart.

My vote's for the rubber trim. Looks OK.

Where have I seen pics of this bike before?

I just monkeyed about with mine till it fit right. It's still got a fairly big gap- it wou;ldn't come off it if didn't- but it's all along the same lines now instead of having a step.
