So here we are.
The weather is starting to look a bit better and i have started planning my holliday through a few countries on my two wheels.
Sincei will be doing a lot of time on motorways i thought i would need to upgrade.
I currently have a 1gb card in my phone that i use as an mp3 player, but two weeks with the same tunes will drive anyone mad, so i reckon i need to get something bigger (over 10gb atleast).
Can someone recommend something that is cheap (don't have to be branded stuff, i don't care that much for iPods and what not).
So far i found a 20gb player for £110, but if someone has any recommendations it would be sweet!

I bought my other half a Creative Zen Touch for christmas after reading reviews. Its easily as good as an ipod and supports more music formats. the only gripe about its is the touch pad is a little sensitive otherwise its a great piece of kit.
In fact, i'm borrowing it this weekend for my two day ramble in the peninnes.

Creative zen eh? Sounds like i should have a glance at that.
Thanks for the advice!
I brought a creative zen and within the space of 24 hours had broken the thing... it has a very highly sensitive touch pad but sound was good before it broke!!

I'm glad the one i bought is still going! Survives the gym with my mrs and my walks in the middle of nowhere.

i have a creative muvo2 - 4GB thingy...little bit older than todays stuff.
but it's a pretty good player: the screen and the controls are fairly small, but that's a good thing, as they don't break so fast! I hear a lot of horror stories from Ipod's (screens breaking down, and no guarantee).
Better get something sturdy than something beautiful IMO ;)

It'll drive you mad alright, on my Sony Walkman phone, i got a collection of 512meg and 1gig memory cards, and just chop and change to suit my moods,
maybe one solution like

There's also a mobile phone about with a 3Gb hard drive for MP3, soon to be replaced with the newer model with 8Gb.

I recently got a Creative Zen Nano 512MB and I think it's ace although it doesn't have the capacity you're after  It's good enough for me though 8)
