can u re sole motorcycle boots ?

My gortex oxtar boots are still in good condition apart from the grips on the sole are almost completely worn out .
Boots were 120 quid , so don't really want to shell out again , just wondered if any one has had their motorcycle boots re soled ?

My old man had his boots re-soled. Far as I was aware, so long as you find a competant cobbler they should be fine.

Most any local dry cleaners will prolly be able to fit a new rubber sole to the existing one. They just kinda glue it on and trim to size really.

I dont think it'll work if the sole is worn thru at any part tho.
