Kawasaki W650:

I am thinking of getting a W650, preferably one of the models with the lower handlebars and ribbed seat. Low mileage and possibly the blue and silver colour scheme. Does anybody know of anybody who has one for sale or thinking of selling. It will be straight purchase as I am keeping my SV. Need something that is more comfy for the wife. (Had a 68 Bonneville when we where courting :)

Chap who ran a basic motorcycle maintenance course at swindon college has (had?) one. He reckoned it was one of the best bikes for the real world. Cheap to run, quick enough, easy to work on, etc.

He was looking to sell his, but at £2000 for a 70K mile one, I'd probably buy a new one if I was going to hang onto it for any sort of time.
