I can accept any motorcycle owner wishing to add his own signature and personality to his machine. Making an individualistic statement is fine. However for me the choice of platform to be used must be selected carefully so that whatever changes you make,they do actually improve the base machine.
For me although I can appreciate the skill of the work involved, the following picture to me screams that this exercise in particular is just so wrong! :?

I can appreciate the effort that was done, but it just does not work for me personally. However if the rider loves it, than fair play.

In all fairness, its the paint job you lot can't like which is fair enough. But the owner obviously likes it. It looks tidy, but not for me.
Saying that though, that polished rear arm and gold/polished wheels and ample polishing looks rather horny 8)
:sick: that looks awful, I can see the guy put alot of work into it but that is just awful, but each to their own i guess
And they say you can never have too much money... :roll:
That looks vile.
The paintbjob is definately what lets the bike down imho.
And as daimo said. those wheels do look the muts. 8)

I nearly wet myself laughing when I saw a Tamburini with an "Incredibles" paint job. They were selling it with 30 miles on the clock and wanted the list price of £30-oddK for it. This was when there were still a few brand new, stock ones available at that price. Even if the prospective buyer liked the paint job, there's no way they'd buy it like that, unless they were planning on keeping it for ever, purely because of the massive damage it'd do to resale value (unless you were planning on fightering it and turning it into some sort of "Brutale Deluxe").

Viney...You will have to explain to me why it is you assume the owner of the bike is Spanish? :?
That is criminal, a lesson in how to take somthing simplisticly beautiful and make it look like a tacky piece of ****.
IMO airbrush paint jobs like this just don't work on modern sports bikes. On a Harley yes - but then it naturally has lots of chrome so can work as it looks heavy and suits a solid looking bike.
Looks different and who is anyone to dis someone elses ride?

It's not THAT bad, bit over done imo (just a tad!) but the polished bits look nice. Defo have the stock bodywork on it though, in silver and blue :)

Just airing my opinion, If someone wants to take an already beautiful (and expensive) bike and deface it like that, thats their business. I just hope that he (or she) can find someone with the same "unique" taste when they come to sell it
Are you considering a similar paint job for your Ducati Peter ? :P :wink:
