Hello!

Anyone interested in having the only REMUS GENESIS on a SV650 in the UK ?

http://www.home.pages.at/pras/remusgen.jpg

THe Bore is 54mm so it will fit both link pipes for the old & new models.

I had various complaints from my neighbours as I'm leaving home at 6:00 in the morning and the Genesis is too loud.

The CAN is as new. Only done 200 Miles. No "Not for Road Use markings" & looks like a baffle is in it - (but there isn't  )

I would swap it for a Remus Revolution CAN (with baffle) in good nick.

Let me know & include pics please.

Well I'd sell it if I get enough £££ to buy me a new Remus Revolution

Because if you look into the "hole" there are 2 rings visible.

Therefore the inner ring makes it look like a baffle is fitted. That's all

You're not going to like this, b ut here we go

Including link pipe you are looking at around £300.

That is the cheapest I could find for a Remus Revolution.

The Genesis Can is Aluminium Carbon & cost me £360 including link pipe.

Sorry I not gonna give anything away here, or put ideas into peoples heads and I have never done this myself..... officer.
But why not have a race can and a standard can, if you fall off just swap the race can for the standard one before the engineer comes round
just a thought, but I'm sure no-one else on this forum has ever done such a thing

I'm sure if the bike got stolen, would they really find it again, well maybe in bits on ebay or in a container heading for Denmark. But they would never find the bike anyway.

You could maybe get £150 for that can if that second hand. Thats on ebay AND forums, hate to rain on your parade and all.

Why not just buy a general remus revolution can with a 54mm inlet and put that on? The insides aren't that different in all honesty. Oh and buy one second hand, who wants a new one when a second hand one does the same. *confused*

hey buddy, if you like the can but think its too loud why not get a decibel killer? that way you still have the fruity rasp as and when you need it...seems a shame to get rid of it just to replace with something almost identical....

how you keepin by the way?

Look at the middle one - you can see the problem - the bore is not round - it's oval shaped...
