From LB - SV rider FULL THROTLE down & out

Had a call from PAPA and told be about FULL THROTLE riding a SV on friday
night unfortunatly having a tragic crash on the A40. He was unsure if he was a ORG member.

Talking of which, TSM, is that for real the post twenty odd minutes ago on the LB forum saying his family still dont know?

How can that be? Surely if the accident was Friday evening with the bike reg or any id on him the Police must have informed his immediate family??? :?

Always bad news, biker losing his life.

I have to say I hate the A40; when I worked in Brick Lane it was an easier and quicker route for me, but I just prefrred the Embanlment/A4/M4 route, it just felt "safer".

When I did my Bikesafe course, the coppers said that the stretch of A40 from Uxbridge to Park Royal was the most dangerous for bikes in the area covered by West London Traffic....

Really sad news. Ali loved his sv. He had custom renegade shotgun exhausts on his bike which sounded great.

I was with Ali on Friday night when this unfortunate accident happened. I will write about the events of that night soon but for the moment lets all say a prayer for Ali and his family & friends.

Jesus. I was chatting with him last week about this chain scuffing noise(well, were trying to diagnose it :?), he was asking me if I thought it was clutch or not.
This is horrible news. I am really sad to hear this.
I dont even know what to write. I am sorry for all his family, he seemed like a lovely bloke.

I am just completely shocked. How close we all come to nasty offs, you just need a bit of bad luck, and its not almost any more. Hopfully, a few people reading this very sad thread will start to take pride in how safely they ride over the other aspects of their driving.

I didn't know Ali. Never met him. Chatted with him once or twice on here and he seemed like a top guy.

Unfortunately it could have been any one of us. This should serve as a timely reminder to us all about the dangers we all face each time we go out for a blat- especially those of us that don't tend to ride during the winter.
