hiya, ive got exactly 4000 miles on my bike now but i canot service the bike for a week or 2, im not happy about not using the bike but its my fault for not getting all the bits ready, the thing is a got to mot the bike at the weekend and was wondering how much damage it will cause the bike if i ride it over the recomended miles before i service it, i would imagen that if i left it till 4050 it will still be ok and not do any harm as its only a recomended service intervile, anyway what are your views on this? do u think it will be ok? cheers

it'll be fine, just change the oil & filter if you're really worried, but a couple of hundred extra miles won't do any damage

No worries at all. Just check the oil level etc. and off you go.
