On my way to work today... I saw this:

I live in what some think is a small town... but there is a surprising amount of money in it. Too bad I don't see any of that money.

It is in fact an Aston Martin DB9... That some cute little blonde lady drives (of course). It needed washed though. I was sad for the poor car.

Its an Aston Martin DB9 Volante.

A very, very nice bit of motor. IMHO.

The most important point is - it's British. Of all the flashy motors in the world, this lady in Oklahoma chose some British wheels 8)

It's not just american women. Like in V for Vindetta... Natalie Portman sounds hott with a brittish accent. And not to dis. Britain but as an Italian American I have to say some of the best things come from Italy. Decati, Ferrari, the food... those things are hard to beat.

Sadly, to a brit, Natalie Portman's accent in that film sounds terrible! It sounded Australian at one point!

Nice SV by the way :)

Okay, I haven't met many brits, so I'm just ignorant. My new next door neighbor is South African which sounds similar to my ear. As for Natalie Portman, she is hott anyway.

Thanks by the way!

I wouldnt say you are ignorant fella because British people sound different wherever you go, we dont all sound like micheal caine, for instance if you start in stoke on trent and go 30 miles in any direction you will here a different accent.

When I go to college at gaydon, there is loads of astons, jags and land rovers in the workshop so seeing one has sort of lost its edge :( In all honesty, I think the new Jag is better looking than the DB9, doesn't sound as nice though!

Well, you wouldn't have to be asked twice to go 30 miles away would you!

Stoke is the kind of place that is ideal for when you have finished your life's adventures, not to inspire them! :P

Thats because Jag own Aston and theres no way the baby company can produce a better overall car than the mother company.

I beg to differ. Ford own jag and aston.

Strange, I have a friend with a DB9. but his favorite car is still his XJS that comes out once a year. He had had it from new. but when his accountant told him to buy a new car he couldn't bear to be parted with the first brand new car that he ever bought. So in the garage for that sunny day.

The DB9 is his everday car, except when some tosser in a mondao pulled out of a pub car park into the side of it and the body shop offered him a curtosy corsa. I do believe he told them where the could put the thing.

Jag, Aston and Land Rover make up the PAG (Premier Auto Group, or Prestige, can't remember which), and they are all owned by Ford :) And I don't think that theory is true, look at Fiat and Ferrari :)
