ooh, scary  Yes, a matter of time. Wait now for mass hysteria every time a pigeon craps on the pavement.

Don't get too carries away, they don't yet know it's the dangerous kind. Bird flu of some flavours has always been around.

Apparently the only way to catch the virus is and I quote " Somebody has an intermit relationship with a bird"

My mates worried now as he always like to go chase the birds on a Saturday night! :D :D

An thank yal! :D

This bird flu thing is sensationalism at its best.... I'll start worrying when/if we start seeing more frequent human infections than the few we've seen so far.

I mean, a few hundred people out of the billions is nothing and more to do with probability than how infectious the flu is. I reckon there's currently a better chance of me winning the lottery jackpot.

Talking of sensationalism I was reading the metro on the way back from a visit today. Theyre now worrying about the cats which eat birds with the infection being a carrier of the virus and transmitting it to humans. :?

Id make a comment but it wouldnt be u rated

The Metro has surpassed itself today. A picture of the virus under an electron microscope with the headlines Dont Panic.

Thats then followed by "Britains worst fears... were confirmed yesterday" and "Experts fear the virus could mutate and cause a flu pandemic"

I love the Metro. It's not as good as it used to be, when they did all their news coverage by reading all the other papers then summarising it ;)
