Did anyone else witness this ?

Riding home from Loughborough last night at about 8:15 pm on the A6.
Its dark and ****ing down and I'm really struggling to see 'cos of all the rain me visor. Sees hazzard flashers in the left so I move across on to hashings on the right (road going from 2 lanes into 1) to get round him. As I get closer to the car with the hazzard flashers on, I can see another car parked on the hashing (directly in path of all traffic avoiding the car with the hazzards on) with no lights on whatsoever ! and about four people standing road somthing in the road. My initial reaction was "oh ****" a biker has gone down or someone has got run over.

As I get closer, now travelling very slowly I can see they are standing round a dog (in the middle of the road) that has obviously been hit by a car and was very seriously injured or dead.

*** Start rant ***

Now I don't want to seem insensitive or callous (and I love dogs) but WTF where these people thinking !
Get the ****ing thing out of the road or you will have some dead humans to stand around as well. Maybe have to cut them out of cars that have careered into the back of the car you've left in the path of oncoming traffic with no ****ing lights on !!

*** Rant over ***

I love animals too but on a night like that some people really need to think about what they are doing. I would have stopped somewhere safe and then told them to move it along before they join the dog.

 What a bunch of dunces. The stoopidity of humans never ceases to amaze me.

That infuriates me. I have nothing against dogs but I do have a lot against people.

I always get annoyed when you hear of accidents where someone has swerved to avoid an animal and killed someone.

As I said nothing against dogs but I'd love to see these peoples faces if children start catching bird flu from cats and dogs and owners are forced to have their pets put down. I bet even then most of them would rather have kids dying instead of losing their animals.
