I left my textile trousers on the floor at work today.

This evening I came to get ready to leave, picked the trousers up and gave them a bit of a shake, what falls out? None other than a little brown field mouse!

Now someone tell me what on earth a field mouse was doing in an office locker room let alone in my bike trousers!!!

Little critter was well tame, let me box it up without a fuss and put it out the back door...

Check your trousers people!!!

Think yourself lucky!!

I went to get my brand new Belstaff leather jacket out of the loft to find a soddin' rat had chewed all around the bottom edge and then had gone on to nibble it's way around the cuffs......got me own back though, I caught the little sod in a trap!!

Anyway just down the road from me is a woman what makes and repairs leathers...fortunately you can barely see where she has repaired it for me. (she also makes bespoke one piece leather suits if you need one making up!)

Cheers!

I have a sneaking suspicion that there's some wildlife living amongst my gear as well.

Where I used to work theyre were a few of us with bikes. We used to take great delight in stuffing things in each others boots, sticking bubble wrap in the sleeves, or even better, the legs, of leathers.

After me clocking up a few good'uns against one one guy, I came out to find my boots cable tied together, a long line of cableties holing the sleeves of my jacket together, which was in turn, cable tied to the hanger

So I put an egg sandwich in his boot

Been there, almost done that. One of my cats took a liking to do his territorial p*ssings inside my jacket and right boot... curiously enough my right boot took a liking to swing past him at great speeds after that. NO, I'm not really kicking it, but the will to do it.........................
