my bruv has given me permission to sell all of his 200ad comics from number 1 to 200...
I done an e bay search etc..
but- anyone know best place to sell them??....
job lot to a dealer??
or seperate listings on e bay??
all advice welcome
Best bet is possibly to find a local dealer.
Otherwise, don't bother looking on eBay for a price guide, you'll get a far better idea if you can get hold of a copy of the Comic Book Price Guide. Mine's really out of date (98 I think), but it'll also give you an idea of grading as well.
How have they been stored? Does no 1 have the free toy?
Those are two major questions that really dictate how you sell them. Mint condition, bagged, even signed - you are best going to a dealer, convention or specialist on-line trader.
If they are mediocre quality (or he's not fussed about price) then ebay them - but put plenty of info in the description about condition/storage etc & photos.
You might get lucky and hit a nerd with moolah.
200 eh - I 'think' you may have the first appearance of Slaine in there, as well as the Brian Bolland 'Dredd/Eagle Awards' cover (original artwork to which last sold for £500 15 years ago!) - if so it'd be worth picking out for an individual sale (along with any other major character 'firsts') if you're gonna sell them that way.
I'm not too sure which will net you the biggest profit - probably a block lot if none are missing - in which case you'll need to give a breakdown on condition.
E.g.: 1-5 Mint, 6, 9, 156 Poor, remainder Fine etc.
Your best bet for a higher priced sale will also be the States, so get a realistic price to ship worldwide - remember, paper's damn heavy in quantity.
Erm... am I a prize nerd now?

It's entirely possibly my brother would take those off you... I'll be seeing him tomorrow, I'll ask.

In fact... If they're in reasonable but not collectors condition, no mould or bad rips, misisng pages etc, PM me with an price- it's his birthday soon :) No idea what they're worth though, and I'm not going to make an offer in case it's taking the mick.
