Can anyone recommend a dealer/independant specialist etc. within 25 miles of Alton?
I need my carbs re-jetting (bike has been running rough through the winter and now has a Micron race system on). I'm not sure if this kind of job is more suited to a specialist (JHS in Bristol for example)?

Would appreciate your recommendations.

Anywhere with a Dyno machine will be able to 'set you up' properly ;)

Re jetting isn't a hugely difficult job (I assume you have a Curvey SV 650, not a fuel injected bike needing a re-map) and is just a case of replacing some brass jets. If you put up a full list of what's been done, year of bike, whether it has standard airbox & filter etc people should be able to recomend new jets saving you a fair bit of cash. Other than that as long as the dealer has a Dyno and knows what they're doing it's a common enough job.

It's a 99 SV650S, with standard airbox and filter (probably in need of a good clean) and shiny new Micron full race system. Everything else should be standard.

Yup, get a BMC air filter on it, new jets & get it Dyno'd & watch the BHP figure rise

Cloggsy me ole bean, its not any old BMC filter you need, its the BMC RS filter, which is rare as well running KTM apprently.

Other than that, carry on :D
