He was like a pig in poo on this last night, and today he tells me this (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2000-HONDA-CBR-FIREBLADE-YELLOW-RRY-929CC-THE-BEST_W0QQitemZ4629718304QQcategoryZ9806QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem)
Every time he sells a bike, he ends up 2 weeks later getting the bug again, but this time look at his other items, His jacket, leathers, lads helmet etc.
Well he can keep his hands off my bike once he is bikeless. Look at his eBay name that even give away his foolish biking ways

It's a sweet looking bike your kid is selling their Tim. Good buy at that price for someone?

He seems to have a little problem with 'H' in 'H'as. Nice bike though.

Well his reserve is set at what he was offered as a trade in against a busa last week. But even at the reserve it is a damm good buy. It has had all the recalls done. Regularly serviced by a local independant bike workshop.
Martin is a summer weekend rider who probably does about 1500 miles in a good year. He bought the Blade to experience ownership of a true sports bike, previous bikes having included 900ss, zx6r, etc. So TBH his skills are not upto the bike and hence his suggestion of a more "Sedate" bike. He has currently got his eyes on a Ducati 948 as possibilty

I daren't criticise his grammer, or spelling. Comments about mine on this forum are down to my poor typing ability. Now if someone can please lend me a couple of grand, I will buy it off him myself.
A few of the Pennine mob, eg. El Boc, Amarco, etc. have seen it when he had a ride over Hartside with us last year.

Tim...He reckons a 948 is tame in comparison? :? If he is of a more "mature age"....(obviously a bit like yerself! ) he needs to be a bit careful as the 948 riding position is way more focused than the Blade and even the 9 series that followed. 8)

It's got less miles than mine, and mine's an '03 model
That's one nice 'Blade Tim, go on treat yourself, you know you want to
PS - Doesn't he know that "A 'Blade is for life, not just sunny days" ?

What the chuff, pray tell, is a Ducati 948??? :? Is it a 916 with a different motor, like some sneaky 996s had, with the Testastretta engine in 'em pre-998s?

I don't actually know his words not mine. Could be he was confused as some guy has posted on his ebay questions about swapping for a 748 BP and he was telling me on the phone

Indeed if I were still living in England's green and pleasant land I would snap that up. A Fireblade would be the perfect winter hack for me.
