Hi Everyone :D

I found this place a few weeks ago ... Wonderfull!...You seem like real friendly bunch of people!

I wanted a new bike, but had no idea which one would be right for me. This place really decided me on my next Bike...So thanks to all of you!

Ebay's great for, well, everything really ...I wanted something over 600cc and I had a little sit on a bandit...a bit top heavy...I didn't realise that a bike over 600cc didn't have to weigh a ton and a half! Well, I saw an curvey SV650 on ebay and knew that it was the bike for me, aesthetically pleasing and just plain yum.... Yeeehaaaar!! I didn't get it but it was the beginning.

I did a google and found soooo many good things said about this sweet bike...I went down to all the bike shops around Bristol and found quite a few, different years, faired and naked...the curvey had the right feel and I just love the half fairing...make me want to run my hands all over it. Another thing, I reckon with a bit of adrenaline (say, outside the Kawasaki center...at least it was my 305... bloody disk lock  ), I could probably pick it up if I dropped it!

Anyway, I bought one a couple of weeks ago from a really lovely guy... Bright yellow, curvey and luscious :D I am one very, very, very happy girl! I've even got a picture of the bike on my desktop...I'm like a Trekkie of the SV650 World...I just love my bike...I bet ya gathered that by now, eh?

Are there any riders around in Bristol? ... and I reckon it'd be great to meet other women who're into biking...are there any here?

Cheers Jax

Welcome to the site, Jax! There are quite a few SV riders in the
Bristol area. You should check out the South & West Surfers section.

PS. I am a bit concerned that you are so keen on meeting women who are
into biking. We do, indeed, have lady bikers in our area (anna,
e.d.), but what is wrong with meeting men?

Hi,
No need to be concerned  I just don't know any women who are into biking! My bloke's got a bike and a couple of others I know. Meeting up with anyone with a bike is a good thing as far as I'm concerned! I'd just got back from a long night of clubbin', so I was suffering from "divvy women overload syndrome!"

Hi Jax and welcome to the forum. :grouphug:

Good to see some ‘flange’ into bikes. :)

I have a ‘curvy’ … which as you might see/guess is blue!! :D

p.s. I am glad to see that you admit to being sozzled when you wrote the initial post :drink: … you were beginning to sound like a bit of bike p2rvert!! :D Oh and I shouldn’t worry, I am sure ya fella would be more than happy to hear you are on the search for la-die companions!! :makelurve: :D

p.p.s. socommk23 – I am from Pompy way, how many suverners are there? We ought to meet up … although that is probably not the best of ideas … I find it hard not to ride like a t1t at the best of times, let alone in the company of other SVs!! :stupid: :D

Hi Jaqui!

Welcome to the forum. You chose the right bike in the right colour.

To answer your q. there's a fair few girlies here. They're not shy either, so will no doubt be along in a mo....

Couldn't tell from your first post if you're new to big bikes or just not noticed the humble SV til now?
