Could anyone out there give the lowdown on (a) draining the coolant from a K4, and (b) refilling it. I have read posts here cautioning against a home refill, getting air blocks etc etc. Surely it canot be that complicated.

I need to take off the right engine cover to replace the water pump cover. Don't want any coolant in the oil.

There is a site on this forum where manuals can be downloaded. The coolant, lube section seems to be corrupted and will not download.

Thx in advance.

I just tried it and it downloaded fine.

Right click on the link and save target as (to save to your hard drive). http://www.sv650.org/sv_manuals.htm

Also it might be that your adobe reader sofware needs an update. http://www.adobe.co.uk/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Sorry if i am telling you something you already know / tried

Never done it with a jaggy SV, but there's nothing much to fear with the carbed model. I doubt the jaggy one's any different.
