OK so you've prob read my post about - help!! a scooter question.

i really need to mention the dealer CMC motorcycles (cannock branch)

my dad purchased this scooter (Cygnus x 125) and was told it would be best if he could pay all the money up front, so he did. he purchased the scoot a top box and rack and one of those hideous large screens to keep the wind off him.
the scoot was meant to be delivered the following Monday but it never turned up!
i phoned them, they said the extra parts hadn't turned up so they would just deliver the scoot on its own, i said "no you wont my dad has paid £200 in extras which he wont have" they said they would fit the extras at the first service(6 weeks later!)
i said "bugger off" the saga went on!
it eventually arrived 7 days later with just the rack and box fitted, they said the screen still hadn't arrived.
so let me get this right, they sold a bike that they couldn't deliver on time and extras they couldn't get? and remember he was told he should really pay up front.
after close inspection the grab rail was scratched! cmc was sending a mechanic round to my dads house the next Monday to fit the screen, he did turn up and fit the screen but he broke some of the bodywork and just superglue'd it back to the bike and said nothing!! (now im f in mad  )
the scoot came without a service manual and now this bl@@dy speedo thing!! and it might be an import!! the scoot total'd £2200.00 in total!!
someone is in for a roasting tomorrow!!

next time i wont hand money over to CMC till i get the goods ive purchased!

has it all been completed now and sorted
im not an expert but your dad paid his money up front and i would have thought you got a receipt from them..then by him keeping up his end of the bargain they must have entered some kind of contract with your dad to supply what he has requested and paid for.
surely they cant expect you to shell out your hard earned money for something they cant supply straight away
LIKE I SAY...IM NO EXPERT

i got a dispute with a car dealership at the mo and i went to trading standards who
can only give advice and was told by them "we dont get involved in individual cases"
ok for advice but a bit pointless beyond that

i have never liked the people in there the small bloke in there (manager i think) is a total ****, a few years ago when i was swopping the k1 sv for a 600 i only went in for a price to swap for a 600 and when i said i would think about it and would have to check the insurance first he started trying to get me to phone the insurance co so i would buy the bike straight away.
i think they have also changed there trading name 3 times in about 5 years but kept all the same staff

i went to sit on a lowered sv there last year but they didn't give me a good impression so i didn't buy from them....glad i didn't now!

they are pushy! kevin waite first open'd that shop in the name of rangers from stafford then fowlers of bristol brought them out and kept the same staff, then kev and his buddy open'd kev waite's motorcycle warehouse and cmc took over the fowlers place.

kev waite is a good guy, its all the rest that are bad.

cmc would sell you their granny for the right price.
