I've emailed Tank slappers and they said that if I can get 10 or more orders for them they will offer 30% discount. As theyre $15.95 that makes them about $11.17 plus a bit of postage so they should be around the £7 mark.

Now I want one but if 9 other people are interested just let me know. You can find out about them here (http://www.thetankslapper.biz/)

Cool, just need 8 more!! Once I get them I can just post them out to everyone that wants one. Shouldnt be expensive to send a few bits of film.

Come on peeps,

Don't wish to be a killjoy, but do you realise anything imported above the value of £28 (I think) is subject to import tax? Info is available on Royal Mail website.

Normally they write on it that it contains a gift to get round the tax I'm sure.

You're wrong I'm afraid!

You can bring back a lot more in personal luggage, but if it comes in by post the sender has to put the value on it, & if it's above our customs increments, you're liable to be 'done'.

From experience, if the item is heavy, it's more likely to attract attention.

So I need to see if they can write that it is worthless on the package?!

I think those are Stompgrips (sp?)

Do the tank slappers just protect the paintwork on the tank? If so then I could probably do with some, there's some pretty noticeable scuffs on the sides of my tank after not very many miles. Bloody Suzuki paintwork!

El Saxo, By the looks of the website they are an almost invisable film that protects where your knees rub against the tank and the front part where most other protectors go. If your defo interested let me know.

Oh and Tank Slappers have emailed me about customs. They write a value of $4 on the customs receipt so hopefully I'll get away with it. They could very easily check tho.
