I Know a lad up here, runs with us on occasions.
now this lad has a 2005 fireblade , asks his wife for a paddock stand for his birthday.
on his birthday She tells him to go to the local honda dealer to pic up his paddock stand, he duly goes' only to find the dealers chock a block with people oggling at this custom painted paddock stand sitting in the middle of the showroom with a new 2006 fireblade painted by dream machine in repsol honda colours and wrapped in a red ribbon with a birthday card stuck to the windshield.
now thats my kind of wife (wish i could find her though)

I married mine 30 years ago! She looks after me, goes out on the bike with me and best of all is giving me some money towards another bike!

I see she's good to his friends too!
So I don't understand why he wasn't annoyed with the dealer. Why was he using his paddock stand to display the showroom bike on it - surely the paddock stand should not have been used? Hope you mate likes it though.

Question is did she buy the bike?
Or charge it on his credit card!!!!
Surely a nice GSX-R1000 would have been a greater sign of love?
...... ideal wife??? buying a fireblade!!! ............. surely that just equates to a wife with no taste???

my girlfreind would make the perfect wife! Dosnt complain when i got the bikes on (actualy, she sits down and watches it, hurling insults and stuff at the screen!). She is gonna pay insurance for my first bike. She wants to learn to ride (dunno if it'll happen, she;s deaf). Sweet for me huh?
Matt
I'd rather ride my bike than my mate's wife, but sometimes I just can't help myself.

2005 bike was traded in 3,500 miles (yeah sunday rider  ) and the money for the paint and the upgrade was from her account .
and yes the bike was included in the present
bet its on his credit card though.
