Hi folks, honestly I'm only here because I'm skint.
Like the rest of you soon as the money train rolls in, I'll be floggin' the cheap ass Suzuki and buying a Honda.
You know it makes sense

Only kiddin' - but I think you've got it the wrong way round, don't most h*nda riders aspire to own Suzuki's (except maybe the MotoGP teams)?

So whereabouts are you / what bike you got etc?

Oh yeah I'm just down the road from Swinton.
Bike is a nasty lookin' 2000 SV, currently SORN but I'll get it back on the road soon as I put some bits back on. Then MOT and tax and awaaaaay...

Listen mate, I don't think he's really talking about MAKES of bike. Reading between the lines he wants a real bike. You know. An IN LINE 4, something with a bit of kick to it

I was thinking more SP2.
If it was good enough for Colin Edwards I'm sure it'll be fine for me.

Everyone knows 3 cylinders are best and I'm not talking about a misfiring Hornet!

Twin's for show, IL4's for a pro (no NOT prostitute)

You only know that sound because you are behind it and can hear it pulling off into the distance..

Oh yeah?

Maybe someone should tell Lavilla and Haslam to get back in line then. :?

(I must say the confrontational element within this thread is a bit OTT. We're meant to be saying hello to the poor chap, not slating him even tho he's clearly WRONG about H*nda's superiority!)

If Honda made a mid-capacity v-twin, that wasn't either a museum piece or a Deuville, I'd probably own it. Wouldn't say no to a Hornet either, or a VFR.
