Yeah, but it's hidden lol. I'll clean it up if I ever have reason to take the fairings off again.

My first one was fine at 20,000 miles, till I bent it then blowtorched it to straighten it out... Went rather scabby and still needs rewelding. So I got a used one, which had paint damage and rusted like nobody's business. Got to get the first one fixed and painted or coated I think.

Yep same problem with mine. Its really rusty around the exposed hooks part.

I never understand why they never put some durable paint on these areas. Would like to get it powder coated as it should stop rust (correct me if I'm wrong).

Also noticed a little surface rust apearing on the bottom yoke :cry:

My advice would be to remove it and have it shot blasted and powder coated.. bout 40£ and makes a fantastic difference.. done it on both my sv's :D

Take it off get it shot blasted and powder coated costs about £20 everything in!!!!!
