Ok anyone who commutes in London would have had many heart stopping moments when idiots step out on the roads or crossings despite the fact the red man is there and traffic is on coming!!!!! ( I hate pedestrians just as much as bus drivers!)
So if i was to **** one with the front of my bike in an accident then how would i be able to claim from the scrote??? Does my insurance deem me at fault? Please give me a nice warm and fluffy feeling by saying that the biff would have to cough up somehow!

I think you won't be able to claim from a pedestrian.
My friend's Alfa Romeo was seriously damaged when a horse sat on its
bonnet. He couldn't claim from the horse or the rider because they
were not insured (it is not a legal requirement).

I flattened a hoddie wearing scrote last year. He got up and ran off . . . or should I say limped away  . . . before I could catch him
Luckily damage was only a broken indicator and a few scuffs, but it could have been a lot worse. Unless they have some sort of personal indemnity insurance, you'd have to sue them - and even if you won, I doubt you'd ever see any money
One think realy annoied me last week when coming to CG was a ped that walked into the street saw three bikes comming from a good distance and on purpose decided to stand still in the middle of the road and make a stance as if he was going to jump in front of us. I went around the back of him (with the thought that it less likley that he would move backwards) and felt like slapping him one with my glove as i went past.
Now that is provocation and if he did jump at the last moment on purpose and cause a crash i think the situation would be a tad diffrent.

Yeh some peds in london are of the mentality that "if i stand here they wouldnt dare run me over"
Oh where oh where is a car driving psycho when you need one to teach these fools a lesson????
There have been a couple of times where i have had to get off the bike and have a quiet word with that type.

Can always rely on you spidey!
Oooooooooooooooooo a nasty subject.
I sit their beeping at them making sure everyone sees the idiot standing in the road. Theres also the comments I like to give, these are my most used ones......
Theres a fecking crossing over there, what are you, ****ing lazy or jsut ****ing stupid.... No other options, what are you?
You don't see me riding my bike down you fecking pavement do you, roads are for cars bike and lorries, not pedestrians...
Whats up, did your mother not teach you how to cross the road, little RED man, red lights being stop? Or are you a god?
Doesn't bother me pal, im not the one whos going to get 170kg of metal squashed into your body, your gonna come off a lot worse than me. I couldn't care less unless you damage my bike, then i'll kick the **** out of you as well!!!
However......
These days (after running over an old duffer) i tend to make sure im going no faster than my ability to stop in time. When im in the center, the visor gets un-clipped so im ready to lift and crucify......
I watched some women walk straight out in front of a double decker bus (whats worse, she had crossed my side of the road already), didn't look at all, just walked straight in in front of it.... She was lucky to survive and started to have a go at the bus driver????????? I defended him.
I mean, how can you miss a bright red 20 meter long fecking red bus????
Pedestrians, i've claimed quite a few points thus far   8)

If i did that, i think most of the road would jump. Opps i do when peds are not looking properly, puts most of them in their place.... back on the pavement.

I read a while back about a woman out for a ride on her bike crashed becasue a pedestrian stepped out in front of her. The pedestrian was injred out but the biker sued her and received something like £13k in damages and lost earnings since the crash.

This used to happen almost every shift when we were on pizzahut peds on friday and saturday nights. We decided that looking like your not going to stop gets the kids (and adults) out the way. Apart from anything if you did stop they would try and steal the pizza out the back of the bike................little gits .
I always made sure i could pull up in time though, don't think telling the police officer that he was playing chicken so i decided to hit him would get much sympahy.
What was more worring is occasionally they would run out from behind cars etc which is scarey as hell, that and drunk people just walking off the pavement for no reason.
Had some idiot walk out from behind a bus in Kensington High street once he sh** a brick when he saw me millimeters away from him!!!! so did I like!! that was before the loud sound system!!! :D
I sent a bloke about 5ft in the air when he stepped in between traffic into my filter lane (was in the car and left ruddy great dents in my bonnet when he came down).
He limped off (was quite relieved, thought id killed him).
Went round and reported it to the Police and they asked me if i had his name and address, i didnt. They then said i could have sued for the damage to my car as he should used the zebra crossing about ten feet further on.
Thought it would have been a bit harsh to run him over then sue him...........

most people have house insurance.
this often gives personal liability cover. so you would have to use your motor legal protection (always take this) to sue them.

Glad I'm not the only one that this bothers! :x
I grew up round the Paddington area, too many 'hard men' round their I think...the amount of hooded ****s that used to bowl out in front of me used to drive me nuts. (probably worse these days)
I lost it one day I'm afraid when a tall guy strolled across & stood in the road
 taunting me. ****ed me right off.
As I rode past I kicked him really hard up the ****, saw him leaping bout in the mirrors. I'm really not one to get aggressive like that but I not putting myself in danger for no one.
