Get thyself to WHSmith and pick up a copy of the book that teaches you all about the bike theory test. Or click here:

Good luck!

The bike one only differs in that it has a section about bike controls.
Stupid questions like "what do you use to turn corners?" that kinda thing.

Hi mate - I did my bike test in march, and my theory and hazard perception in Feb this year - I've been driving a car for 12 years, so it was my first theory test.

Frankly, it's a joke :D. If you've done the car test, you'll walk it - so long as you understand the basics of motorcycling - I think I had two or three bike specific questions, so I could have got them all wrong and still passed the bloody test.

And the hazard perception's equally dumb. As a motorcyclist, I made the assumption that basically anything that moved was going to be a hazard. So I clicked every time anything moved.

I spent about half an hour looking at www.theory-test.co.uk which has all the DSA questions and a load of (crap quality) haz-perc clips. I passed with 35/35 and 69/75. 8)

I recommend theory-test.co.uk as it's cheap - and it can't hurt, although to be honest if I hadn't used it I would still have passed because it didn't actually teach me anything.

Hazard perception is definaley aimed at absolute beginngers, loads of potentail accidents they missed.

On the hazard perception test click away whenever you see anything, I managed to fail first time, as I thought you only clicked once or twice per clip, the shame of failing my first exam ever, I was gutted! If you want I can send you the interactive practice DVD as I'm finished with it if you PM me your address.

Good luck

The car and bike theory test are very similar. Did both of them last year just days apart. The Bike one has a few questions like "Should you wear hi viz clothing" etc. Piece of pie really.
