Have picked up a 2nd hand Scottoiler with a dual injector, which a located on the underside of the swinging arm with cable ties. The injector seems to be moving however, so what is the best thing to use to secure it?

Copied to here in the hope someone can offer some advice!!!

Have you had a look at the Scotoiler website. Theres all sorts of goodies on there you can get to mount the dispenser and delivery tube properly.

The injector is mounted to the swinging arm using the bracket as advised.

The problem is, that cable ties do not seem to hold it still. Araldite is suggested..... is this the best thing to use? Or superglue?

I fitted mine behind the left hand plastic panel after seing some posts on here. It's a bit fiddly but worth it as the main component is in the middle of the bike and all the tubing goes from there to the rear sprocket and the engine.
I planned it out from the rear sprocket and got the tube routing roughly laid out and fitted the resevoir metering valve. I used double side sticky pads used for number plates to mount the plastic sleeves on the swing arm. the last bit was to run the tube to the carb vacuum tube. Mke sure the tube runs free under the tank. I took a long time tryng different ideas on routing the tube from the dispenser to the rear sprocket as it is very close to the chain so it needs to be tied securely so it won't move and there are no kinks. It was all worth while as it worked fine first time.
Do a search on this site as there is an awful lot of info and some pictures, I am just repeating their ideas so my thanks to all those contributers.

Have to say i hated the duel injector, it used to move around and get in the way so went back to the tradioinal single sided which works fine. Also found it really showed becuase its so much bigger than the normal one.

points of note are the superglue dosn't stick to the swingarm and remeber to leave room for the suspension to move.

Apart from that miles of maintaince free if slightly messy riding.

Agreed dual injector is crap, anyway I got 11K out of my chain that was single sided scottoiled.

The superglue will stick to the swing arm just sand it a toch first, sandpaper comes in the kit.

For a stealth install fit to drip on the front sprocket behind the front sproket cover!
