Hello everyone, how's the lovely SV crowd these days? I'm now back in Bristol, much to my dissapointment but hardly surprising; we knew our money would run out in the end, and we were travelling for a good time, not a long time. Still, eight months of awesome experiences is enough to take home.
Anyway, enough yarda-yarda from me. About the things I've found lurking in my room that might help someone out... oh, by the way, they're all for the original SV (2000)...
An original screen. It has absolutely no cracks but is grazed a bit here and there. Perhaps it would be good if one wanted to spray it. Maybe even a buff would improve it. Who knows?
The Left Wing Mirror. It's in black (colour coded to the 2000 model in black, whatever colour code that is...YL7 or something? I think I just made that up). A minor graze on the top that will likely come out with a bit of T-cut. It's still all black though, no scary cracks or scratches that can be seen from the side walk.
I have these Yellow Headlight Covers, which made my bike look like an alien/bug thing (Steve will agree) so I didn't use them for long. I'm sure they're great for European travel, and perhaps might look good on someone elses bike. And of course you get that cool yellow beam. Way cool man. Anyway, they velcro on - you'll need to by the vecro tabs, but they only cost a couple of pounds - to each light - there's to of them, of course - so you can take them on and off as you please. Perhaps you could choose the right colour of the right mood?
I also have one Spare Headlight Bulb. It's nothing fancy, but always handy, and made by Stanley. Check out the rhymes mofo. Word up to the mother G.
Lastly I have the replacement Oxford Heated Grips that got sent out to the SV folk who complained their grips weren't doing the biz. So it's just the grips, not the controller, which you'd have to buy seperately if you don't already own it. You could always devise your own controller-thingy? You might end up burning the skin from your fingers and it could be fun. I offically don't recommend you attempt that.
*So, here's the small print. If you collect you can have any or all of these bits without parting with a penny. If you want me to send it, which I will gladly do, you will have to pay for postage and any packaging costs that I will of course try to keep to a minimum but can't pay for myself as I without a job and much money.
If you have questions post here or PM. If any items go I'll update this thread.
Hope everyone is well.
