hi new to site so bare with me,
had my sv 1 month been restricted and lowered using longer dog bones, steering seems to want to tip in to corners to quick and can feel any dodgy road surfaces quite bad. got metzler 120x60 on front and 160x60 on back, any ideas as to why its so twitchy.

have you checked your tyre pressures recently ?

What model of Metzler tyre are they ?

What year and model is your SV ?

You're not far off, 33/36 is standard for SVs, and I think the old Mez 3s probably use those specs. If it's lowered then if anything it should turn in fairly slowly, but the SV is a fairly responsive bike.

E.d.s K5 is lowered with longer dogbones and that handles fine. Its not twitcy at all and it turns in fine. When they lowered the rear for you did they drop the forks through the yokes to lower the front to. I'm wandering if it would handle funny with a lowered rear and a standard height front end ?

Is it your first bike ? how long have you been riding.
