I was witness to a hit and run accident a month or so ago.
A couple of Chav's in a clapped out Escort bashed into the back a car waiting to turn on an A road. Accident wasn't serious and was just that.

But what annoyed me most is how they sped off with no regard for the safety of the other people.

Anyway, gave the Police the vehicle details and all that and now me and the missus
are required to attend a computer line up, where I presume they show so piccy's and I have to pull him out.

What concerns me is that all I remember is that he was a young lad. I took more notice of the car than him as I wasn't expecting him to dissapear.

I'd hate to get it wrong only for him to get away with it. How much does the line up depend on a conviction????

I suppose it also depends on the other faces in the line up, ie: if they were bold or ginger or had a beard. If they are all similar then I'm not certain.

Anyone done one before????????

Not been the person doing the picking, but i once took part in an actual line up.

All the people who attended got £40 cash for their time. It was great. We had to line up, in front of a number on the floor. We were partitioned by a one way mirror so they could see us but we couldnt see here.

It was kinda weird knowing that there were 6 of us in that line up - and ONE of them was the person who had done the crime. :?

None of us knew which one though.

Ha ha, I was in a line up once with a load of my school mates. Obviously, it was the guy none of us knew!

£20? Lovely :D

I think things are all done on computers now a work colleagues girl friend was mugged last month and they caught the guy but instead of seeing actual people in the line up it was a series of computer pictures of the profile and front head shots of individuals.

Did one years ago, they just brought a laptop round and clicked through a series of pictures
