Yes, I'm sure someone's got one, but I haven't. HTH.

Amazon do them and it's big brother.......

I want to make sure that there is a way of recording direct from an analogue AV input while "mobile". I'm considering using one instead of my camcorder when recording from my bullet cam.

Is that the big brother of the 400 series? I've a 420, you can ( and I have done ) use it as a portable recorder with a bullet cam.
Try the manual:
http://www.archos.com/support/download/manuals/EN_AV500_v25.pdf
Archos do a bullet cam that plugs in and is directly powered by AV500 as well now.

Cheers,
I'm aware of their remote cam, but it's pricey and not fantastic spec either....
