Here I am,sitting at my computer, drinking a bottle of beer, watching tele,(See Girls,us blokes can Multi-task! ),then the advert comes on where the bloke in the Rover pulls-out on the 'bike........then SMACK!

Very good Advert, still makes me jump and gives me that sick 'feeling'.

sorry speedy don't understand the poll....

whats the question...?

do we prefer seeing ads that shock or not shock ?

or do we think ads that shock or not shock are better advertisments?

Personally I think ads that shock are better because they are the ones you remember. Like the drink driving advert with the guys and the the girl in the pub. I cringe just before she *throws" herself about because of the impact and the end result.

The most shocking ad I saw was the kids with the mobile crossing the road... that looks Sooo real.... (Hopefully someone will tell me its not).... but brilliant ad all the same

As far as the this ad itself goes, I think it's a very good advert. Gets its point across.

Still gives me goosebumps when I watch it too

I heard that it is in fact real. THe kid did get run over, and yeah he died. His parents consented to this footage being used as it gets the message across well.

RIP kidda.

I almost splashed myself against a car last monday!!! parked on the left hand side, loads of traffic, she saw a gap and decided to do a fast U turn without looking....

most scary stoppie so far.... the son, a teenager was like "muuuum... !!!" from the pavement. Man, that was so close, I was already counting on flying over the bonnet.

you have to be all the f**** time looking for somebody with a chance to do it. They will. And this time I was looking.

about scary adverts... yes, sometimes you need it to realize about the obvious... and for some people "unknown"

If I had the address of the doddery old fool who pulled out in front of me and had me off, I'd of anonymously sent him a copy of that advert burnt to DVD.

 I got knocked off my RD when I was 16,I was being overtaken on a straight bit of road, lorry coming the other way,XR3i cuts in front, clipping my front wheel........Earth-Sky-Earth-Sky-Ambulance.

The woman drove off.

A witness caught up with her, brought her back to scene of accident.

She had the audacity to ask if I was all right!!!!

This was as I was being carried off on a stretcher, claret everywhere,neck-brace the works!!!

If I had had her address............
