It was the Skoda Octavia (black) nice car and goes like sh*t off a shovel and it's fitted with ANPR or whatever it's called.

Can't remember the reg no. tho but i'll find out.

i had a close encounter with that last year. the programme was filmed last summer i think, i hooned up behind him, slightly breaking the speed limit then realised what i was approaching and backed off rather sharpish!! he followed me onto the m27 for a while, then got bored and sped off!

its quite a distinct car, as you say black octavia, lowered, looks quite mean actually!!

Jax even has the reg written down somewhere... as we do just live round the corner from there. :D
Stopping in for a tea Rich?

As for those morons driving with now insurance/tax/mot/licence, they deserved it all.

Seen it around quite a few times - Black VRS - 05 or 55 plate iirc.

They are bloody quick - but not quick enough

Totally agree

Why should they get away with it, i would love the job of crushing the vehicles, think they should be made to watch as it's done.

I love the fact that they make them pay the crushing cost too.

I'm afraid to say that the car in question gets around a bit. Seen on the A326 a couple of weeks ago doing about 120 but fortunately in the oposite direction to my 110mph. :?

It's county wide, so it could be found any where in Hampshire

The force has a number of the Skoda Octavias, in afew colours. Still you would have throught that people would have been able to spot to uniformed officers sitting an unmarked police car, however even when along side motorists they still dont realise its the plod, although i wish i had a camera to take pics of their faces when they do realise.

The Skodas have ANPR and Video capability, all pretty impressive stuff really.

Now all traffic officers own Skodas lol

Loved it, all the scum getting their cars crushed, I missed what happened to the woman in the sports car?

Do they crush newer cars, when then their value is greater than that of scrap?

I did wonder about that... as seems a waste when you consider the amount of resorces that has gone into producing that car.
I expect that crushing it stops the possiblity of the person buying the car back from a auction, and does rather make a strong point.

Tis a great car, pull 0-60 in about 7 seconds and go all the way up to 150mph if not more as I know they do some work on those vRS jobs.

fantastic car :D
