Filter mask on. The fibres from CF are bad for you. So when you drill it or snap a bit off, they get released into the air.

i've got some http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8057964394&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1, and they're usually attatched with very strong velcro. However it doesnt sit as flush as i'd like, so am planing to drill a hole so that the screw from the sidepanel can be accessed through the carbon fibre. Which will mean i can glue the cf cover in place :) ....well thats the plan anyway!
