I might be out this Sunday for a ride. I'm kinda new in Guildford so I bumble along alone on random roads and along the A247?? :? from Guildford to Leatherhead. It'll be nice to meet some bikers from here.

Count me in, although I don't really know Guildford that well apart from the town center so a nice easy meeting place would be good. Oh and as long as it's not raining coz SV's don't like rain (grrr). I'm free all day Sunday so let me know times/place I'll be there.

Law, I'm still doing the same thing too - i have managed to find the main haunts, Newlands, Boxhill and Foxes but still looking for some nice roads to hit on. I've sort of come to the opinion that they are few and far between (litarally) where i am.
Any long time locals around this Sunday? Was thinking a ride to the Popam airfield on Sunday may be an option sometime in the morning as I havent been there yet - and then head back to Newlands, Boxhill later in the day?? Anyone else keen?

Anywhere is fine for me to get to
Just needs to be somewhere where we can park and get a coffee and has a loo!

If we get an idea of where everyone is coming from we could try and find a pub in the middle which is a good distance for everyone. Then peoples assignments can be to find a pub in a certain area
I'm in Guildford, but the only places I know are Boxhill and Steve Jordans. Kinda need directions to anywhere else.

you and me both mate only been here two weeks
So what are the suggestions then? come on guys

cant really suggest anywhere till we know where everyone is coming from!
I'm just outside Egham. Boxhill and Newlands is a 30/40 min ride in the evenings which maybe a bit far - and ruins my excuse for Sunday rides here.
I think there are a few on the forum scattered out my way Chertsey, Bracknell, Staines. I am not sure where you are DD but maybe more will be tempted out of West London/Thames Valley by pitching between Guildford and these areas or closer to the city?? Somewhere this side of Pirbright maybe?

Just a thought, there's a pub called the Anchor at Pyrford Lock nr Woking, it's got a decent sized car park and seating outside overlooking the canal (so is all nice and puurdy!)
Yep go for that i'll check out some pubs this weekend  i need no excuse :D
